MURAMBA [decaff] - filter roast ⚡new⚡

apple/maple syrup

Roasted Monday 15th August 2022

This lot was processed at the Muramba Washing Station. It was built in 1984 & purchased by Angéle Ciza in 2012. The station processes the coffee of around 1000 small-holder farmers from Bwinyana Hill.

Angéla helps with educating farmers on plant nurseries & harvesting. She also helps with financing & has a scholarship to pay for school fees for young girls.

This coffee was decaffeinated using the Swiss Water decaffeination method.

This lot is 100% Bourbon a natural mutation of Typica originating from what was called Île Bourbon. The colour of the cherries can be either yellow, pink, orange or in this case red when ripe.
