About the farmer(s)

Daniel Kimani Ngumi - SL28 - SL34 - Ruiru 11 - Batian [washed] — Kenya

Daniel grew this lot on his 12-acre “mini estate”. He has his own wet-mill which allows him to have full control of his coffee. The coffee cherries were harvested at peak ripeness & processed the same day. At the wet-mill cherries are hand-sorted & floated to remove defects, de-pulped, dry-fermented or 24 hours, washed, soaked in fresh water for a further 24 hours & then spread out to dry on raised beds for 10-18 days.

Kenya] was bred at the Coffee Research Station for disease resistance & released in 2010.
