DECAF - SANTA CRUZ OZOLOTEPEC - Mexico - espresso roast


This coffee is part of the Swiss Water "Small Batch Series". It is a program of limited offerings that features seasonal, traceable, tasty coffees.

This coffee was grown in Pluma Hidalgo, Oaxaca. What was once large coffee estates has shifted into the hands of small-holder producers who provide the plants the care & attention they need. 

The coffee once harvested is de-pulped using manual pulpers, fermented, washed then spread out to dry on concrete patios.

The coffee was then processed using the Swiss Water decaffeination method. 

The cultivar Pluma is a selection of Typica grown in Pluma Hidalgo, Oaxaca. The plant is tall & grows best at higer altitudes.
